This Stevens manufactured fourth variation mainspring with the upper forward section being flat and bent slightly higher than the third variation is for the latest of Favorite single shot falling block rimfire rifles which will be marked "Favorite" on the bridge of the receiver. This mainspring is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with light wear. (file photo)
